Reports indicate that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

Lawrence and Hutcherson will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. It is believed their roles will take the form of a future-set scene, as the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.
