On Monday, the tribunal was told call records and information obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a genetic test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most publicized child disappearance cases and remains unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

A separate recorded message, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm fat and plain like Madeleine was, but I know what I feel."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "Suppose there is a slight possibility that I am she? Then what? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I only wish to understand," the message continued.

The tribunal was informed that through emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an investigator with law enforcement who gathered the information, advised the court there "didn't appear to be any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a recording on Mrs McCann's voicemail declaring "I will continue and I will prove my point."

Court proceedings
Kate and Gerry McCann gave evidence to the court from using a privacy screen on Wednesday

The court heard the co-defendant established a connection online with Ms Wandelt preceding accompanying her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in that area in last December.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had contacted through WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she deserved to be considered genuine in the time leading up to the appearance to Rothley, that area, in that winter.

The court learned communications between the two accused, in November 2024, planning attempting to acquire Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her garbage or from utensils at a restaurant.

"We need to assert ourselves," Mrs Spragg told Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the visit to their home, Mrs Spragg sent a text which stated: "We are sitting outside the McCanns' house with our lights out like private investigators. I wanted to accomplish this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The proceedings continues.
